Friends and family ADORE this gooey, complex bread pudding. The amazing combination of chocolate, vanilla bean custard, Nutella (hazelnut and cocoa) with banana is over the top good. Have you ever had a chocolate frozen banana coated in toffee bits? I have and LOVE it. This is the other extreme; a warm, oozing, addictive take on a perfect combination of flavors.

Serve with vanilla ice cream, or even better yet, my favorite is cream anglaise. I suggest the ‘lazy cream anglaise’ (good quality vanilla bean ice cream- melted). This bread pudding is amazing topped with a thick pourable custard known as lazy cream anglaise. If it’s good enough for Ina Garden (The Barefoot Contessa) then it’s good enough for me!
