To kick off the weekend, at my Huckleberry Hill home, we made a simple homemade face and body treatment. This recipe features four key ingredients and is developed by Sharon, a Huckleberry Hill follower and esthetician. Her career is focused to using holistic techniques for healthy skin care.
Winter season elements are very drying to skin. This at home spa treatment is perfect to combat the effects of cold weather. Dream of spring, prepare for a late Easter season, with this hydrating scrub.
Tip: For a comforting true winter treat warm this scrub before applying.
Why use olive oil for at home beauty treatments?
Organic olive oil is featured in this Huckleberry Hill hydrating scrub. We used authentic Papa Vince Olive Oil, as there are so many fraudulent products out there we wanted to be assured to have the benefits of best quality cold pressed olives. It also makes my Italian heart happy to support a local Sicilian farm.
Olive oil is packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. Just like coconut oil, it’s an essential in any DIY beauty maven’s kit. Olive oil has been used as a hair treatment since ancient Egyptian times.
